CSIG-VIS International Lecture Series

    Introduction

Visualization and visual analytics is a discipline concerning the visual presentation and interactive exploration of data. It is a powerful tool to discover insights from data and AI algorithms, and bridge the gap between data, AI, and human users. Visualization has facilitated applications in a broad spectrum of domains, such as scientific simulation, industrial design, and decision-making. The CSIG-VIS International Lecture Series, launched by the China Society of Image and Graphics, Technical Committee on Visualization and Visual Analytics, invites renowned experts to share their visions of the research trends and latest progress in visualization. This series aims at encouraging international and interdisciplinary communication and collaboration, discussing the trends and hot topics, and increasing the broader impact of visualization.
