ChinaVis 2020 Panel Call for Proposal

China Visualization and Visual Analytics Conference (ChinaVis) organizes panels to discuss frontier, important or controversial issues in the visualization field. In the past ChinaVis, the panels’ topics included: Future of visualization, The development and training of visual talents, Opportunities and challenges of international visualization in the new era, What is the silver bullet of visualization? and many other themes.

In general, each panel is 90 minutes long, usually with four or five panelists for a 5-10 minutes presentation each, and then a 40-60 minutes for Q&A.

We call for proposals for the topics of the ChinaVis 2020 Panel. Each proposal should include the information of the organizer(s) of the proposed panel, the topic title, a brief introduction and information of the panelists (name, institute, short bio, and profile photo). New areas of visualization, national major demands and interdisplinary topics are particularly encouraged. The organizer(s) should contact all panelists for approval before the submission.
