The 11th China Visualization and Visual Analytics Conference (ChinaVis 2024) is calling for proposals for the topics of the special sessions. ChinaVis 2024 will be held in Hong Kong, China, from July 22th to 25th, 2024, hosted by China Society of Image and Graphics, Technical Committee on Visualization and Visual Analysis, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology with multiple sponsorships.

This session will focus on the latest research advancements by Chinese visualization teams and provide a high-level international platform for Chinese scholars to present their work. We invite authors who have published papers in the past two years in major journals and conferences in fields such as visualization, human-computer interaction, and digital humanities to report their research at ChinaVis.

Applicants are requested to send the information of their published papers (including title, abstract, authors, journal/conference name, publication date, DOI, and online publication link) to chinavis.topic@gmail.com. Submitted papers must be published in international journals or conferences classified as B level or above in the CCF recommended list. Repeated submissions of papers previously reported in past ChinaVis sessions are not recommended. Papers accepted by IEEE VIS 2024 are encouraged to be presented in this session as a pre-report.
