Shortlisted students should note:

1. Please reply to the confirmation email by 23:59 (Beijing Time) on July 2, 2026 to confirm whether you will participate in the volunteer service.
2. Please scan the QR code in the email attachment to join the volunteer group as soon as possible, so you can receive follow-up assignments and training notices in time. Keep communication channels open.
3. If you cannot participate for special reasons, please inform the volunteer committee by email in time.

ChinaVis 2026 Volunteer Recruitment

Student Volunteer Program

We are calling for student volunteers for ChinaVis 2026. This program looks for reliable and responsible student volunteers to assist the conference organizers in providing better conference services. Student volunteers can obtain the latest research progress in visualization and visual analysis, and work with visualization scholars from all over the world.

Students interested in applying for the volunteer position are invited to complete the volunteer application form at https://www.wjx.cn/vm/mBK2953.aspx. A letter of recommendation from your supervisor is required during the application (please refer to the template.docx). We will conduct a qualification review and selection based on the submitted information, and final results will be communicated via email or phone.

Selected volunteers will receive a special discount on conference registration fees; those not selected should pay according to the registered fee category specified by the conference. Applicants are kindly requested to wait for the announcement of selection results before making any payment.

• Good physical condition.
• Good communication abilities and teamwork skills.
• Registered undergraduate and graduate students in domestic and foreign universities.
• Strong responsibility for completing conference services well.

Qualifications for Selection

We aim to establish a professional, responsible, and sustainable volunteer team. The following are the priority criteria for selection:

• Participated in previous ChinaVis conferences.
• Worked as a previous ChinaVis volunteer.
• Participated in IEEE VIS, EuroVis, IEEE PacificVis, and other international visualization conferences.
• Worked as a volunteer in IEEE VIS, EuroVis, IEEE PacificVis, and other international visualization conferences.
• Volunteer experience in other conferences/activities.
• Applicants from universities will hold subsequent ChinaVis conferences.
• Doctoral students or postgraduate students are preferred.

Notes:

• To encourage communications, no more than 2 applicants from one supervisor and no more than 4 applicants from one university.
• Those who have worked as ChinaVis volunteers with negative evaluations will not be accepted.
• The volunteer committee reserves the right of final interpretation.
