The 13th China Visualization and Visual Analytics Conference (ChinaVis 2026) will be held in Guiyang, China, from July 19 to 22, 2026. The conference is hosted by the China Society of Image and Graphics, and organized by the Technical Committee on Visualization and Visual Analytics, Guiyang University (Key Laboratory of Digital Protection and Development Utilization of Guizhou Cultural Heritage), School of Big Data and Information Engineering of Guizhou University, School of Big Data of Guizhou Normal University, and School of Data Science and Information Engineering of Guizhou Minzu University, with support from multiple sponsors.
This conference accepts papers in both Chinese and English. Accepted English technical papers will be recommended to SCI journals, such as Journal of Visualization and Visual Informatics. Outstanding accepted Chinese technical and review papers will be recommended to domestic Chinese journals. For English manuscripts, please refer to the IEEE VGTC template requirements, and for Chinese manuscripts, please refer to the Journal of Computer-Aided Design & Computer Graphics template requirements. The main text of the paper (excluding references) should not exceed 8 pages.
The review process for this conference consists of two rounds. Each submission will be anonymously reviewed by multiple experts in the field. The first round of reviews will be conducted using the Precision Conference System (PCS), and conditionally accepted papers from the first round will be recommended to the corresponding journals. The second round of reviews will be conducted using the submission system of the recommended journals. Before the second round of submission, authors must revise their papers according to the feedback from the first round of reviews.
All submissions must be in PDF format. To better demonstrate the dynamic operation and workflow of interactive visualization systems, it is recommended to submit additional materials such as screen recording videos. All submissions must be original and unpublished work, and simultaneous submissions to other venues are not allowed. If the paper has previously been reviewed by other international or domestic visualization conferences or journals and was not accepted, the authors may submit the revised paper along with the previous review comments and provide a "Cover Letter" explaining the improvements made.
