The 7th China Visualization and Visual Analytics Conference (ChinaVis 2020) will be held in Xi'an, China, from July 18th to 21st this year, hosted by China Society of Image and Graphics, Technical Committee on Visualization and Visual Analytics, Xidian University, Northwest University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shaanxi Normal University, Xi'an University of Technology, Xi'an University of Finance and Economics, Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts, and Xi'an Polytechnic University with multiple sponsorship.
This conference accepts submissions written in either Chinese or English. Accepted papers in English will be published in Journal of Visualization, and those in Chinese will be published in Journal of Computer-Aided Design & Computer Graphics.
ChinaVis adopts a two-round review process. Papers are only conditionally accepted during the first-round review and need to be revised to address the issues raised by the reviewers and resubmitted to the corresponding journal submission systems. The papers that meet the revision requirements will then be formally accepted. In the past years, the acceptance rate of full papers was approximately 30%.
The conference uses the Precision Conference System (PCS) system for submission and review (https://new.precisionconference.com/chinavis20a). For formatting guidelines, please refer to the IEEE VGTC template requirements (http://www.cs.sfu.ca/~vis/Tasks/camera_tvcg.html). A full paper, including references, should be no more than 8 pages. Manuscripts should be submitted in PDF format. For papers with system or technique contributions, authors are recommended to submit additional materials such as a screen-captured video of their system. All submissions must be unpublished original work. If the paper has been reviewed and rejected by other international visualization conferences or journals, the authors can attach past reviews and provide a "Cover Letter" to clarify the improvement of the paper. Each submission will be reviewed anonymously by experts from multiple domains.
